Archivist Scholarship

The IFI in association with the School of History and Archives, University College Dublin, is offering a full-time one-year Studentship for the period 1st September 2008 to 28th August 2009.

The post is intended to provide relevant work experience for a graduate who intends to apply for the MA (Archives and Records Management) at U.C.D.

The post will require the student to work on the paper and photographic collections of the Irish Film Archive with tasks selected to familiarise the student with basic archival theory and practice.

Candidates should have a third level qualification or expect to obtain one this year. The value of the Studentship will be €15,000.
